Introduction

SST started the Kasturba Gandhi Women's Tailoring Training Centre in the year 2005 with the aim to empower women to become financially independent and to become an entrepreneur. The training is provided by qualified teachers at a nominal fee. They are trained on the skills and techniques of tailoring, designing, aari work, embroidery and dress making. The duration of the course is 6 months.
