Introduction

SST organises free medical camps for the community periodically at its building. Free Siddha OP clinic is arranged in collaboration with IMPCOPS, Chennai every month on 4th Saturdays since September 2022. Also periodically we arrange free allopathy medical camps for elderly and other age groups in association with Lions Club and leading hospitals in the City viz., Apollo Hospitals, Rela Hospital, Mount Speciality Hospitals, etc.

Challenge

During COVID-19 pandemic period, we organized about 10 medical camps along with the Greater Chennai Corporation and vaccinated about 2000 persons in the area. We contributed one lakh rupees to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Relief Fund towards combatting corona virus, with the support of the local residents. SST partnered with Zomoto Feeding India in association with United Way India and generously donated rice, groceries and vegetable to needy people. SST also distributed rice and other essential items to about 20000 families and the front line workers of the Greater Chennai Corporation with generous donation received from the public.
